I have always been fascinated by fashion, drawing inspiration from Instagram or Pinterest to express myself through clothing. However, the use of animal skin in vogue pieces and luxury products deeply troubles me- not only are they cruel but also profoundly insensitive. In this installation, I combined elements and the textures of human skin with crocodile skin on everyday objects to represent the normalization of this inhumane practice. If we believe products made from animal skin are acceptable, how do we feel about using human skin?
