, where I put ideas into practice.

This living archive, created by my sister Gina and me, is inspired by our grandfather's hometown and the everyday stories that rarely make it into official histories. It gathers those stories and the memories of anyone who has had a genuine encounter with Daxi, from longtime residents to returning families and travelers. Anyone can submit a memory, a photograph, or the story of someone who quietly keeps the town’s culture alive.

Orbis Club celebrates seven years in 2026. It is a community that brings together visually impaired students and sighted people, built on the idea that learning a language should also be an exchange.

I started Orbis Club after noticing that the English curriculum for visually impaired students in China was largely copied from the standard local curriculum. It rarely reflected everyday life, and some of its content was insensitive. So I created a space where English-speaking students teach conversational English to visually impaired students, and where both sides learn from each other. Our lessons are recorded as a podcast and made accessible for visually impaired listeners, so the learning can reach far beyond a single classroom.

Immortal Souls

This is a film inspired by my grandfather’s community in his hometown. Whenever I visited, he would always take me to one place: a revitalized traditional house to not only preserve the local architecture but also provide a platform for the elders to come gather.

In Daxi, Taiwan, Yuan Gu Ben Pu gives them a place to connect and be heard. Watching them, I was struck by how much creativity and wisdom they still carry, and how eager they are to pass it on. Their community made me rethink what “old” means, and it made me want to live with the same kind of joy and purpose.

is the place where my lived experience and identity become material. I work across paint and mixed media, letting each surface carry the history of where it came from. I was born into an artistic background, and that inheritance shapes how I see, make, and question the work I put into the world.
